About The QAA

The Quality Assurance Association is a trade organisation sometimes referred to as a trade association designed to promote quality businesses who excel in their chosen field.  The Association is the founder member of The Quality Assurance Ombudsman Scheme based in Manchester.  The Ombudsman Scheme provides a legally binding means of redress if any complaints or disputes occur between members and their customers.

Association members are vetted prior to acceptance including taking customer and trade references, completing a detailed application form and authorising the Quality Assurance Charter.  This Charter gives the Ombudsman his powers of investigation which essentially is a process of mediation, conciliation and arbitration.

Members benefit from:-  Marketing and Promotional Help, use of the ‘Quality Assured Ombudsman Backed’ Logo, Finance packages, Insurance Backed Guarantees, Debt Collection, Credit Checking, Legal Advice.  Also they can be introduced to 178 buyers from Local Authorities, Insurance Companies and Housing Associations as these professional buyers are very interested in Quality Assurance.

Whilst many members work in the Home Improvement and building industries any business from Manufacturing, the Professions, and the Service Sector can apply.
