Vetting of Members
Customers
can confidently award contracts/orders to members in
the knowledge that they have been vetted prior to acceptance and that there exists an independent Ombudsman Scheme to investigate any complaints.
The vetting processes include:
- Submission of a detailed application
form
- Supply of details of experience and
qualifications
- A review of any written guarantees
offered to customers
- Independent verification of customer
satisfaction. QAA independently write to customers
of the applicant with a quality and customer satisfaction
questionnaire
- Proof of Public Liability Insurances
- Authorisation
of The Quality Assurance Charter. This gives
powers of investigation to The Quality Assurance Ombudsman
with outcomes that are legally binding and enforceable.
The
Membership Committee will consider each application
on its own merits based on the results of reviewing
all of above. The process normally takes approx
2-3 weeks to complete from the date QAA staff receive
a completed application form.
